{"id":1260,"date":"2015-06-11T11:29:05","date_gmt":"2015-06-11T11:29:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alfg.ge\/?p=1260"},"modified":"2015-06-15T14:50:13","modified_gmt":"2015-06-15T14:50:13","slug":"review-of-decisions-of-constitutional-court-of-georgia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alfg.ge\/en\/review-of-decisions-of-constitutional-court-of-georgia\/","title":{"rendered":"Review of Decisions of  Constitutional Court of Georgia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On \u00a0June 1, \u00a02015,\u00a0 Association of Law Firms of Georgia \u00a0ALFG) and EU Project \u201cSupport to the Constitutional Court of Georgia,&#8221; held a discussion on &#8220;Review of Decisions of the Constitutional Court\u201d at Radisson Blue Iveria. \u00a0The meeting was attended by the ALFG attorney members, the chairperson of the Constitutional Court of Georgia\u201d Giorgi Papuashvili,\u00a0 judges of Constitutional Court of Georgia, Qeti Eremadze, Lali Phaphiashvili and Konstatine Vardzelashvil and Deputy Team Leader \u00a0of EU project \u201cSupport to the Constitutional Court of Georgia\u201d Giorgi Tughushi. Judges presented analysis of the recent court decisions. Special attention was paid to the issues concerning constitutional submissionsand the Constitutional Court\u2019s decision to suspend enforcement of its rulings.\u00a0 The participants also discussed other considerable issues, including Constitutional Court\u2019s Decisions to be disregarded by the administrative authorities, the Constitutional Court\u2019s role in law-making process\u00a0 and the role of attorneys in promoting constitutional justice. During the meeting, the member attorneys of Association of Law Firms of Georgia expressed their opinion that attorneys involvement in \u201cfriend of court\u201d institute will improve advocate\u2019s role and participation in the constitutional justice.
