On December 16, 2015, Association of Law Firms of Georgia held a presentation on launching project \u201cMonitoring Equality and Adversarial Principle Securing Measures in Criminal Procedures\u201d.<\/p>\n
The project aims to determine \u00a0legislative gaps \u00a0in regulating investigative rights of the defense with the purpose to strengthen equality and adversarial principle in the criminal law proceedings. ALFG member criminal law lawyers will evaluate the process of obtaining evidences through the court from time period of\u00a0\u00a0 2014 to 2015 in Tbilisi and Rustavi City Courts.<\/p>\n
Finally recommendations\u00a0\u00a0 will \u00a0\u00a0be \u00a0\u00a0prepared \u00a0\u00a0to increase effectiveness of the defense in the evidence obtaining process.<\/p>\n
