On March 26, 2014, 16.00 pm \u2018Tbilisi Marriott Hotel\u201d hosted launching eventAssociation of Law Firms of Georgia (ALFG).\u00a0 Association was established by 21 law firms and about 200 associated attorney members. Presentation was attended by different officials, including representatives of Georgian Parliament, High Council of Justice of Georgia,\u00a0 Ministry of Justice of Georgia, higher educational institutions of Georgia, international and Georgian non-governmental organizations of Georgia. Thechairperson of the supreme court of Georgia\u00a0 also attended the meeting.<\/div>\n

\u201cThe main goal of association is to promote and develop\u00a0\u00a0 high standards in corporate legal service, to protect corporate rights and interests of the law firms,\u00a0 as well as to promote, develop and protect advocatesrights and interests and increase the quality of legal service and the qualification of lawyers\u201d \u2013 said ZviadKordzadze, the chairman of Association of Law Firms of Georgia (ALFG)<\/p>\n

Law firms established in Georgia can become the member of the association, with the right to vote in the decision-making process, elect and be elected at the board of the association. The attorneys can become the member of the association, without the voting rights, but can participate the events, trainings held and organized by the Association of Law Firms of Georgia.<\/p>\n
