Presentation of the GIAC Arbitration Rules

On December 8, 2014 Georgian International Arbitration Centre, with support of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Association of Law Firms of Georgia, held a presentation of GIAC Arbitration Rules. The representatives of governmental agencies as well as of private sector attended the Presentation. Practicing lawyers represented the majority of the audience. Representatives of Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and Ministry of Justice expressed their support of the establishment of a permanent arbitration institution in Georgia and emphasized the importance of development this field.

The attendees had an opportunity to get acquainted with the GIAC Arbitration Rules, and to receive the detailed information as to how the arbitration proceedings are conducted under these Rules.
