Media Training on Broadcasting the Legal Issues
From November 26 until December 7 Association of Law Firms of Georgia (ALFG) and the European Union program “Support to the Criminal Justice System Reform in Georgia” funded by the European union. Has held the intensive training program on broadcasting the legal for the Georgian journalists. Six sessions and two days offsite during the period of two weeks have been held by the famous member attorneys of Association and international experts.
The educational program for journalists was hosted by the Law School of Ilia State University.
The project has been financed by “Support to the Criminal Justice System Reform in Georgia” funded by the European union.
The educational program included the issues concerning the court system and proceeding, juveniles’ justice and family violence, responsibility of journalists and the ethics of journalists, obtaining the information and the role of media in justice.
The representatives of TV, radio and online media took part in the project.
At the end of the project the offsite training in Kachreti was held and the participants of the training were granted with the certificates.
