Training “On the Draft Law on Entrepreneurs”
Resulting from closer collaboration with GIZ, inside the boundaries of the project “Improving Georgian Commercial Law and Practice” co-financed by the EU and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), lawyers for the Georgian Association of Entrepreneurs are being trained on a new Draft Law on Entrepreneurs.
GIZ experts Giorgi Jugheli, Nino Bakakuri and Lasha Tsertsvadze had prepared a training module, which was revised in conformity with the most recent amendments made to the draft law in 2020. The training module is entirely adapted to the new draft law of Georgia on Entrepreneurs and aspires to study the novelties or amendments envisaged in it, likewise a general overview of the draft law.
The training, which comprises three days out of a total, is directed by the authors of the training module: Giorgi Jugheli, Nino Bakakuri and Lasha Tsertsvadze.
On November 20-22, 2020, 25 short-listed lawyers from ALFG underwent trainings. An additive number of lawyers are attending the ongoing training of November 27-29.
Although the training had been announced to be live, on accounts of the tough epidemiological situation, it is being held following an online format.
