A Series of Trainings in a Practical Course on Insolvency Proceedings
A series of trainings in the practical course in the context of insolvency proceedings continues. The second part of the course, which was led by a GIZ trainer – Giga Batlidze, took place on October 24-25.
The training module had been prepared within the framework of the EU-Germany Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) co-funded project “Improving Georgian Commercial Law and Practice”. It is profoundly adapted to the provisions of the New Law of Georgia on “Rehabilitation and Collective Satisfaction of Creditors” and is the opening move in acquiring basic knowledge in the area of insolvency.
The training course consists of four parts and covers a total of 7 days.
On October 24 and 25, 10 selected lawyers of ALFG were trained within the first part of the training course.
The training of the first stream of lawyers will end on November 8, the short-listed second stream of lawyers will start from November 14. In its entirety, a total of 20 ALFG lawyers will be trained in October-November as part of the insolvency proceedings.
