“Insolvency Reform Advocacy Campaign”

Association of Law Firms of Georgia (ALFG) has started implementation of the project “Insolvency Reform Advocacy Campaign” granted by the USAID Governing for Growth (G4G) Project. The project comprises a number of activities, including meetings with representatives of the private and public sectors, working on strategic plan of insolvency law reform and educational component in the form of trainings. The final report will be presented to all interested parties.

For the purposes of the project, the first working meeting was held on May 21-22, at the hotel “Rixos Borjomi“. The project manager and the project expert together with experts in insolvency law (ALFG member lawyers) discussed the advocacy strategy plan on the workshop. Other important documents, including training modules and questionnaires for interviews with interested parties, to be carried out within the project, were also discussed at the meeting. The workshop was attended by G4G Chief of Party and representatives.
