Meeting on “Constitutional Court’s Decision on Indirect Evidences”

On July 28, Association of Law Firms of Georgia ( ALFG)  and Open Society Georgia Foundation held a meeting on  “Constitutional Court’s Decision on Indirect Evidences”.

Constitutional Court of Georgia declared unconstitutional Criminal Law Procedural Code provisions, which provide a guilty verdict and opportunity for accusation based on indirect evidences.

The meeting was attended by the judges of Constitutional Court of Georgia Maia Kopaleishvili and Qeti Eremadze, First Deputy Minister of Justice Alexander Baramidze, Chairman of Legal Issues Committee at Parliament of Georgia Vakhtang Khmaladze, judge of Supreme Court of Georgia Zaza Meishviil, as well by the representatives from local and international non-governmental organizations and the ALFG member attorneys.
