Meetings about the practical course of Construction Law.
The Association of Law Firms of Georgia continues an intensive, practical course in regards to construction law. During the last 3 meetings (the 2nd, 9th and 16th of March), the following issues were discussed:
- The rule of positioning a building on a site (The main requirements for a building; energo-efficiency of the building; the positioning rule; the maximum height of the building; sharing wall/fencing/canalization; parking).
- The construction permits and legal issues connected to it (The legal grounds for carrying out the construction; the varieties of construction work and the classes of buildings; the pre-project research grounds and varieties; the rule of certifying the construction permit.)
- Safety (Safety of the building process; Occupational safety).
The meeting was led by the director of ALFG member law firm GLCC – Aleksandre Kamushadze and the executive director of JG Counselors, the associate member of ALFG, Nikoloz Abutidze.
The meetings were held in an online format and 14 practitioner lawyers from construction firms and law firms participated in it.
The practical course of construction law is organized by the Association of Law Firms of Georgia, in partnership with GLCC.
