“Monitoring Equality and Adversarial Principle Securing Measures in Criminal Procedures”

On December 16, 2015, Association of Law Firms of Georgia held a presentation on launching project “Monitoring Equality and Adversarial Principle Securing Measures in Criminal Procedures”.

The project aims to determine  legislative gaps  in regulating investigative rights of the defense with the purpose to strengthen equality and adversarial principle in the criminal law proceedings. ALFG member criminal law lawyers will evaluate the process of obtaining evidences through the court from time period of   2014 to 2015 in Tbilisi and Rustavi City Courts.

Finally recommendations   will   be   prepared   to increase effectiveness of the defense in the evidence obtaining process.

The project is funded by the “Open Society Georgia Foundation”.
