Training for Private Law Lawyers

On April 13-14, 2019, the Association of Law Firms of Georgia (ALFG) organized a training for its Private Law lawyers, concerning the subject matter: “Claim Founding Norms and Evidence Assessment Standards by Judges.” The session was hosted by Ambasadori Hotel in Kachreti.

27 lawyers from ALFG member law firms participated in the training. Ms. Mzia Todua, Acting Chair of the Supreme Court, Head of the Chamber of Civil Cases and Ms. Ekaterine Gasitashvili, Judge of the Supreme Court, Member of the Qualification Chamber, were invited as experts to the training.

The training was of a practical nature, which also embraced reviewing decisions of the Supreme Court regarding contractual, proprietary, tort liability and unjust enrichment (legis actio per condictionem) requirements.
